NEXT BOOK
My children's picture book about a witch is still in the works and will miss this Halloween season. Illustrator Marlaena Shannon has been sending me proofs of pages with color added to the drawings. She has a style that will make my poem a collector's item (at least for me). Kids and grown-ups will appreciate Marlaena's work.
In the meantime, it's Halloween, and I keep the spirit all year with these two busts (Walgreen specials) in my bookcase among my books. They're looking at me now with added import.
